The email must include the student's full name as it will appear on all registration materials, home address, phone number and a separate email address for each student wishing to register. The entire registration process must be completed by March 15.

Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton in 2016 signed a bill allotting an additional $12 million over two years to the state's Peace Officer Standards and Training Board to amp up police training for tense situations. With the funding came additional requirements. Minnesota law enforcement must complete 16 hours of additional training each three-year licensing cycle that focuses on challenging implicit bias, conflict mediation and mental health crisis intervention. The requirements take effect after POST develops its learning objectives for Minnesota peace officers' training.
Jessie Diggins of Afton will lead the U.S. Olympic Team Sunday during the closing ceremony of the winter games in PyeongChang, becoming the first cross-country skier from Team USA to bear the flag in the closing ceremony. The 26-year-old was chosen as flag bearer by a vote of fellow Team USA members, according to a news release Friday .
The Woodbury Ambassador Royal Family Luau fundraiser will take place at 6 p.m. on March 3 at Peace of Mind Early Education Center. For $10 per person, visitors get a pulled pork sandwich, chips and drink while gaining entrance to a fun-filled luau including dancing, a hula hoop contest, limbo contest and silent auction. Out of the 34 compliance checks conducted in 2017, 28 clerks or retailers — 83 percent — upheld the law and refused the sale of tobacco to Pierce County underage youth, according to the Pierce County Health Department. Two of these retailers, BP Amoco in Prescott and Dollar General in River Falls, were randomly selected to receive special recognition this year. The health department wishes to thank and congratulate all tobacco retailers that did not sell tobacco products to minors.
With the creation of a regional newsroom and a larger reporting pool as goals, Publisher Neal Ronquist has announced that the Woodbury Bulletin office will close permanently Friday, Feb. 16, at 4 p.m. Ronquist emphasized that all of the Bulletin's employees will continue producing the weekly newspaper and the website with news and sports stories from Woodbury and elsewhere in Washington County and the region. Readers will not experience any changes or interruptions to their paper or its delivery.
St. John Lutheran Church of Woodbury members deliver a send-off prayer Jan. 21, 2018, for Kayla Hoem, an outreach missionary who will be working in Spain. Hoem and Sarah Kanoy, a medical missionary now working in Kenya, were officially "adopted" by the congregation. This will provide them with prayerful and financial support. WOODBURY — Marie Frederick, member of Artists of Woodbury, is the creative genius behind the Bold North Art Experience. "I thought that it would be a great diversion, and fun experience for people to celebrate art during the festivities of Super Bowl LII," she said. "As an artist in the area, and art educator, I know many talented artists and decided to pull together a group for a sale January 28 to February 10 when people are celebrating the Super Bowl."
