The East Ridge Robotic Ominous Raptors, or  ERRORS, competed as part of a three-team alliance at the North Star Regional Tournament at the University of Minnesota March 28-31. East Ridge co-captain, Iaong Lor (front row, fourth from right) received the Dean’s List Finalist award for her efforts on improving the team, starting local robotics middle school teams and being the robot driver this year.

Anna Sawyer, 17, welds the frame for Fierrbox, the robot designed and built by students on the East Ridge High School Robotics Team. They won the Northern Lights Regional Championship in Duluth. Their victory earned them their third consecutive trip the Robotics Competition World Championships in St. Louis Missouri April 27-29. Anna’s twin sister Kate is co-captain of the team.
