Twin Cities man accused of Hudson sex assault

A 49-year-old Minnesota man appeared in St. Croix County Circuit Court Thursday, Sept. 17, on felony sexual assault allegations.

Troy L. Falos of Woodbury made his initial appearance on one count of second-degree sexual assault of an intoxicated person. He was ordered to post a $5,000 signature bond and was set to make a continued first appearance on Nov. 19.

According to a criminal complaint, Hudson, Wis., police were called Jan. 25 to a home along Oakridge Circle for a reported sexual assault.

A woman there said she, her boyfriend and Falos had gone out drinking that night at the Willow River Inn and came back drunk.

The woman told police she was passed out in bed and was awakened to find someone performing a sex act on her. She said she screamed after realizing it was Falos, her boyfriend’s friend.

Falos left the home after being confronted by the boyfriend, the complaint states.

The complaint states the woman and her boyfriend later turned over text-messaged apologies they received from Falos.

A Hudson police affidavit requesting a search warrant states that Falos’ attorney advised him not to give a statement to police.
