Falteisek to present on recent travels to Europe

Chris Falteisek will provide a presentation 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, on his recent journey to Iceland, Sweden, Norway and Poland at Christ Episcopal Church, 7305 Afton Road in Woodbury. Falteisek, Christ Church's Minister of Worship/Music Director, recently spent five weeks on a genealogy pilgrimage to experience the life and customs of his ancestral countries.

Anecdotes, insights, music, pictures and videos of Falteisek's travels will be a part of the presentation. Falteisek, a native of Prescott, Wisconsin, started playing organ and piano for church as a 6th grader. He has composed and recorded 16 albums and his musical performances have taken him to Sweden, Norway and around the United States.

This free presentation is open to the public and will be approximately 90 minutes. In addition to free refreshments following the concert, St. Mary's Guild's "Famous Chicken Salad" will be available for sale. Falteisek's albums will also be available for sale. Christ Church is handicap accessible. All are welcome.
