NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Launch Tamarack, LLC has submitted an application for a Planned Unit Development, Conditional Use Permit, Preliminary Plat, and Site and Building Plan and is proposing to develop a financial institution, hotel, multi-tenant office building, and a development site for a future office building(s). The property is located at the southwest corner of Tamarack Road and Bielenberg Drive. The property is zoned GW, Gateway District and is guided as Gateway on the Land Use Plan.
The application includes the following described real estate lying and being in the City of Woodbury, County of Washington, State of Minnesota to wit:
That part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 5, Township 28, Range 21, Washington County, Minnesota, lying Easterly and Southeasterly of Interstate Highway 494; Also the West Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 5, Township 28, Range 21, Washington County, Minnesota.
Except that part thereof now platted as PRESERVE, according to the recorded plat thereof, and
Except that part thereof now platted as GATEWAY EAST, according to the recorded plat thereof, and
Except that part thereof now designated Parcel 8A and Parcel 8B, Woodbury Right-of-Way Plat No. 7 - Tamarack Road, taken in Final Certificate recorded February 27, 2001, as Document No. 3227869, and
Except that part thereof which lies Northerly of a line described as commencing at the Southeast corner of said Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of Section 5; thence on an assumed bearing of North 89 degrees 37 minutes 03 seconds West, along the South line of said Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of Section 5, a distance of 33.00 feet to a line lying 33.00 feet Westerly of and parallel with the Easterly line of said Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of Section 5; thence North 0 degrees 09 minutes 04 seconds East, along said parallel line, a distance of 1015.62 feet to the Northeasterly extension of a North line of Parcel 8A of Woodbury Right-of-Way Plat No. 7 -Tamarack Road; thence North 89 degrees 46 minutes 55 seconds East a distance of 93.45 feet to the Easterly line of the Public Roadway Easement per Document No. 376233 and the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence South 89 degrees 46 minutes 55 seconds West a distance of 93.45 feet to said Northeasterly extension of a North line of Parcel 8A; thence South 43 degrees 48 minutes 44 seconds West, along said Northeasterly extension and a North line of Parcel 8A, a distance of 75.56 feet to an angle point in said North line of Parcel 8A; thence South 87 degrees 50 minutes 33 seconds West, along said North line of Parcel 8A and its Westerly extension, a distance of 1200.00 feet and said line there terminating. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Woodbury City Council has scheduled a public hearing to review the request for the application. The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. at Woodbury City Hall, 8301Valley Creek Road.
The purpose of the hearing is to provide citizens the opportunity to comment on the proposed application. Individual citizens or representatives of organizations are encouraged to submit written comments prior to the hearing.
All interested parties will be heard.
