NOTICE OF COMMUNITY MEETING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting shall be held to gather citizen input regarding the proposed 2018 Annual Action Plan (AAP) funding priorities.
WHEREAS, the City of Woodbury is a recipient of federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) dollars, with an annual program year of July 1 to June 30. The AAP is the planning document that establishes how these CDBG and HOME dollars are to be invested by the City. Prior to the implementation of the AAP, it is necessary for the City to establish priorities for how these funds are to be used. The City of Woodbury is considering designating the following priorities for the 2018 AAP as high priorities for CDBG or HOME investments: 30% - 50% of AMI small- and large-related homeownership and rental households, 51% - 80% of AMI small- and large-related homeownership and rental households and city-owned park and public facility improvements.
NOTICE IS GIVEN that a community meeting shall be held on the topic on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. in the Cherry Conference Room at Woodbury City Hall, 8301 Valley Creek Road.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide citizens the opportunity to comment on the Citys proposed funding priorities for the 2018 AAP. Draft copies of the recommended funding priorities will be available at the meeting or in advance upon written request. Individual citizens or representatives of organizations are encouraged to submit written comments prior to the meeting. All interested parties will be heard.
