Families got a jump on the new year with a celebration hosted by the Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department on Dec. 31 at HealthEast Sports Center.

Children were invited to play on inflatable obstacle courses and moonwalks, dance, enter a raffle, and ice skate. There was also a countdown to 2019.

Paint and sip company Cheers Pablo led a painting project for those in attendance. Everbrook Academy sponsored the event.
