Woodbury requests volunteers for annual Bike and Pedestrian Count

Volunteers are needed for the 2018 Bike and Pedestrian Count in Woodbury.

The Parks and Natural Resources Commission conducts the survey each year in an effort to raise awareness about Woodbury residents' use of alternative transportation and track their walking and biking patterns, as well as look for ways to improve safety.

The commission needs volunteers for the following days:

• Noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8 (rain date is Sunday, Sept. 9)

• 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11 (rain date is Wednesday, Sept. 12)

If interested in volunteering, send name and contact information to parks@woodburymn.gov or call 651-714-3583 no later than Friday, Aug. 24.
