Theodore "Ted" Zabel, 91, Woodbury, died at his home Nov. 8. Funeral service was held Nov. 13 at Beaver Lake Lutheran Church in Maplewood. Visitation was held at Wulff Funeral Home.
Carol Zenk, 68, Woodbury, died Nov. 6. Funeral service was held Nov. 11 at Wulff Funeral Home in Woodbury.
Joyce A. Carchasky, Woodbury, died Nov. 2. Funeral service was held Nov. 6 at Wulff Funeral Home in Woodbury. Internment took place at Fort Snelling Cemetery.
Debra K. Gardell, 54, died Nov. 2. A visitation and memorial service was held at Wulff Funeral Home in Woodbury.
Jeanne Lorraine Connor, 73, Woodbury, died Nov. 7. A Mass of Christian burial was held Nov. 11 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Oakdale.
Jim Shafer, age 62, of Woodbury, died Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at the Augustana Health Care Center of Hastings. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Spring Valley, with Fr. Varkey and Dr. Michael Mandernach officiating. Burial will be at a later date in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, El Paso Township, Wis. Visitation was held from 3-8 p.m. Monday at Keehr Funeral Home, Spring Valley, and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church. Keehr Funeral Home, Spring Valley, is handling arrangements.
Audrey F. Morris, 82, died at Woodwinds Hospital. Funeral services were held Nov. 10 at Woodbury Lutheran Church.
Neil C. Sherburne, age 90 of Woodbury, passed away July 15, 2009. Visitation 10 a.m. and memorial service 11 a.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 2125 Tower Dr, Woodbury on Monday July 20. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Trinity Presbyterian.
Jim Wishner, age 61, of Woodbury, Minn., passed away peacefully at home Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, after a 21 month battle with lung cancer. Born March 23, 1948, to Benjamin and Marjorie Wishner in Milwaukee, he attended the UW-Madison, and later worked at WOW Radio in Omaha, WOI-AM Radio at Iowa State University, Minnesota Public Radio, KDAL in Duluth, the MN legislature, Associated Press, AM 950 KTNF, and the Minnesota News Connection. His hobbies included ham radio, jazz appreciation, and 12-bar blues.
George J. Burns, 72, died died at home in Woodbury Friday, Sept. 18. A mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 24 at the Church of St. Odilia at 3495 Victoria St., in Shoreview. Interment at Church of St. Peter Cemetery in Mendota.
