Elected officials and members of the Woodbury Heritage Society gathered Nov. 8 at the historic Miller Barn off of Valley Creek Road. They were given a $160,000 grant through the efforts of Rep. Woodbury Heritage Society board members Wayne Schilling and Ruth Duncan inspected the "cookie," or slice of the historic Burr Oak tree that was removed by the city in 2007. The dedication ceremony for the cookie will take place September 23 at Woodbury City Hall.
