Boys Soccer: Woodbury falls to Prior Lake in close game

Saturday afternoon

Prior Lake 1, Woodbury 0

It was a low scoring game, but the Royals weren't able to earn the win over Prior Lake. Woodbury will play its rivalry game at East Ridge on Tuesday, September 11 at 7 p.m.

Friday night 

Southwest Christian 2, New Life Academy 1

The Eagles weren't able to come out with the win on Friday night as New Life was able to score one goal. New Life will head to Concordia Academy-Roseville on Monday, September 10 at 7 p.m. in search for the first win this season. 

Thursday night 

East Ridge 3, Forest Lake 2

The Raptors keep their undefeated season alive with a close win against the Rangers on Thursday night. East Ridge improved its record to 3-0-2 on the season and are gearing up for its rivalry game next week against Woodbury on Tuesday, September 11. 

First, the Raptors will head to Eden Prairie on Saturday, September 8 at 1 p.m. to take on a team that's still looking for its first win of the season. 

Tuesday night

Woodbury 2, Bloomington Jefferson 2

The Royals were able to fight through the rain and finish Tuesday night with a 2-2 tie against Bloomington Jefferson.

Bloomington Jefferson had its two goals scored by Ben Werner, while Woodbury had two individuals score its two goals. Cade Keesling and Dylan Felth each scored one goal.

Tuesday night was the first of four road games for Woodbury as the Royals head to Prior Lake on Saturday, September 8 at 3 p.m.

On Tuesday, September 11, the rivalry will reignite as Woodbury heads to East Ridge for its yearly game.

Legacy Christian 1, New Life Academy 0

It was a close game throughout the evening, but Legacy Christian was able to get one score to give the team the lead and, eventually, the win.

New Life will stay home and host Southwest Christian on Friday, September 7 at 4 p.m. before heading on the road for the next two games next week.
