The East Ridge girls soccer team continued to roll at home last Tuesday with a 1-0 victory over Stillwater.

The Raptors (9-5, 4-3 SEC) own a perfect 7-0 mark on their home field and got an early goal from senior Jaden Vogelgesong off a free kick.

“Those are big for us, especially when we’ve been struggling to create opportunities in the run of play,” East Ridge head coach Mark Abboud said. “We went into this game just trying to encourage our forwards to take chances and don’t be afraid of making mistakes in the attacking third of the field. I thought we did better on that today.”

The Raptors fell 2-0 Tuesday against Mounds View in Mounds View to the No. 1-ranked Mustangs, but came back for a 4-1 victory over Tartan Saturday in Oakdale.
