Boys' hockey roundup: Raptors pick up SEC win vs. Stillwater

Goaltending and a two-goal night by Tyler Johnson helped the East Ridge boys' hockey team defeat Stillwater 3-2 at Cottage Grove Ice Arena on Saturday, Jan. 13.

Tomy Ogren made 29 saves on 31 shots to help East Ridge pull off the victory over the Ponies. Marco Troje also scored for the Raptors.

The Raptors also dropped a home game to Owatonna at home on Tuesday, Jan. 9. Troje scored the lone goal for East Ridge.

The Raptors are 6-8 overall this season, including 4-4 against Suburban East Conference teams.

Park drops two SEC games

The Park boys' hockey team lost two games against Suburban East Conference frontrunners last week.

The Wolfpack dropped a 9-1 road game against White Bear Lake and fell 5-3 against Cretin-Derham Hall. Ryan Lucas scored Park's lone goal against the Bears, with Keegan Oberding, Zach Strafelda and Travis Montez netting goals against the Raiders.

Park is 6-8-2 this season, with a 3-4-1 record in Suburban East Conference games.

Woodbury goes 1-1

The Woodbury boys' hockey team went 1-1 against Suburban East Conference teams last week, defeating Roseville 3-1 and losing to White Bear Lake 13-0.

Woodbury is 4-10-1 this season with a 1-6-1 mark in Suburban East Conference play.
