Quran Al-Hameed was a one-man wrecking crew Friday against Park.

The senior running back tallied four touchdowns to go with two blocked punts in the Royals' 43-7 home win over the Wolfpack.

"All I do is really run hard," Al-Hameed said after the game - his third in a row with at least three touchdowns.

The win, which improved the Royals' season mark at 2-1, provided evidence that the team had learned from a nearly catastrophic second half the week before against Hastings. In that game, Woodbury watched a 33-6 halftime lead wither away and narrowly escaped with a 33-26 victory.

Against Park, Woodbury held a nearly identical halftime lead - 36-7.

But Woodbury's second-half play against the Wolfpack showed no signs of a collapse, holding Park scoreless through the remainder of the game.

Woodbury head coach Andy Hill said the difference was evident to him.

"We came out with more focus," he said. "We executed."

Up next for Woodbury is another District 833 foe: East Ridge. The road game will fall on the Raptors' homecoming. It will also be the first meeting between the teams since last year's thrilling overtime win, where Woodbury edged East Ridge at home.
