Girls' Basketball: Eagles go 1-1 in MCAA

New Life Academy finished the week with a 1-1 record in two home games against the Minnesota Christian Athletic Association teams.

The Eagles wrapped up the week with a 50-46 win against Spectrum Thursday. Sydney Gunderson scored 17 points and Ally Hullett also had 11 in the conference win.

New Life Academy also lost a 76-34 game Jan. 17 against a Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity team that is still undefeated in the MCAA. Carly Hager finished with 12 points and Gunderson also scored 10.

Madi Radtke poured in 22 points for Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity.

The Eagles held an overall record of 6-8 and an MCAA mark of 3-2. They are scheduled to face St. Croix Prep on the road Tuesday before playing Maranatha Christian Academy at home Friday.
