Golden Gophers football coach speaks at St. Ambrose on May 31
St. Ambrose Men's Club presents "Faith, Family, & Football" with Jerry Kill on Sunday, May 31.
Kill will share his journey to Catholicism and unique life experiences through a discussion at 7 p.m. at the church, 4125 Woodbury Drive in Woodbury.
A free-will offering of $10 per person or $20 per family is suggested to help benefit the Minnesota Epilepsy Foundation and special causes of St. Ambrose of Woodbury parish. Please bring your family to this unique event.
Kill was named head coach of the University of Minnesota football program on December 7, 2010. He is in his fifth year at Minnesota and has helped revitalize the university football program. Last year in an ESPN poll of football head coaches, Kill was voted third in coaches who other coaches would want their son to play for and fifth among the nation's most underrated coaches.
Kill describes his life as one that is blessed, and he credits his faith as both an important part of his success, as well as, a source of strength during times of struggle.
