Higher education bills call for Minnesota State tuition freezes

Minkai Li finished eighth out of 135 competitors at the Mathcounts state meet earlier this month. Li, 13, is part of the Lake Middle School math team, which also includes Nikhil Jain, Christina Li and Sarah Zhang. Anna Sawyer, 17, welds the frame for Fierrbox, the robot designed and built by students on the East Ridge High School Robotics Team. They won the Northern Lights Regional Championship in Duluth.
