More H1N1 vaccination options planned
Those who missed out on Washington County's free H1N1 influenza vaccination clinic for kids will have another shot at, well, a flu shot.
Nurses vaccinated 1,993 children ages 4 to 9 at three public health clinics last month, but just as many doses went unused.
That extra supply - roughly 2,000 doses in nasal mist form and some H1N1 flu shots - will be used in vaccine appointments next month for people most at risk for the illness.
Public Health Director Lowell Johnson said appointments are meant for people who cannot get the vaccine through a private health care provider.
