District 833 election heats up

Voters will see a contested ballot for the District 833 School Board race when they go to the polls this fall.

The three incumbents will face four challengers in the Nov. 3 election. The filing period ended Tuesday with seven total candidates.

South Washington County School Board members Ron Kath of Cottage Grove and Michelle Witte and Joe Slavin, both of Woodbury, will face challengers Molly Lutz of Woodbury; Patricia Driscoll of Cottage Grove; Andrea Mayer-Bruestle of Woodbury; and Dean Barton of St. Paul Park.

All three seats are four-year terms.
