East Ridge robotics team places 17th worldwide

The East Ridge Robotic Ominous Raptors, the ERRORS, Team 3130, shown above, took third place in the Newton division at the FIRST Robotics World Championships, in St. Louis, April 25-26. The team was eliminated in the semifinals by the alliance that advanced to become world champions. 

At season’s end, the ERRORs are 17th-highest scoring team out of nearly 3,000 competing worldwide. The team’s last official event for the season is the Minnesota State High School League State Robotics Championship, Saturday, May 16, at Williams Arena, University of Minnesota. The event is free and open to all.
