A sample of recent calls to the Woodbury Public Safety Department that required a response. NOTE: All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

• Police responded April 22 to a report of a vehcile theft at the Red Roof Inn at 1806 Wooddale Drive. A complainant told police that someone entered his unlocked vehicle overnight and stole a Kenwood DVD player, Garmin GPS device and a state-issued breathalyzer ignition lock.

• Police responded April 22 to a report of a stolen vehicle on the 3200 block of Leyland Trail. Upon arrival police learned from the complainant that his vehicle was actually repossessed and not stolen.

• Police responded April 24 to a report of a tampering of a motor vehicle on the 2200 block of Leyland Trail. A complainant told police that sometime over the previous two days someone entered two vehicles parked in their driveway. Nothing was taken from the vehicles.

• Police responded April 24 to a report of an erratic driver who was located at the Hampton Inn. Multiple pesons were arrested after a search of the vehicle yielded stolen checks, property and illegal drugs.

• Police issued a citation April 24 to Champps Americana at 8418 Tamarack Village for a watering violation. The responding police officer spoke with the manager on duty about the city's lawn watering ordinance and advised the manager to speak with the property owner about adjusting the sprinkler timing system.
