Woodbury police reports: Bike stolen after fall; Underage drinking

Burglary

Woodbury police arrested on 34-year-old woman on active warrants July 31 at the Hudson Road Walmart after loss prevention employees reported she exited the store with a cart containing unpaid merchandise.

Drugs

Police issued drug possession and underage drinking citations to a 17-year-old they reported pulling over for in the early hours of July 30. According to the report, police pulled the teen over for a broken tail light and spotted a glass marijuana pipe on his floor. A search of the vehicle and driver also revealed a plastic bag and a pill bottle that both contained marijuana. Police smelled alcohol on a 16-year-old passenger performed a field test. The passenger blew a .079 and later told police he had been drinking. Parents were later called to the scene to pick up their children.

Fight

Police responding to an anonymous Aug. 1 report of a fight on the 8400 block of Tamarack road issued a citation for Gregory Bryan Biever, whom they found alone at the scene. Police believe the 20-year-old Maplewood man was in violation of disorderly conduct.

Public intoxication

Woodbury police transported a 26-year-old woman to detox after finding her sleeping in a chair at the Dancing Waters Swimming Pool the afternoon of July 30 while her sister's child was in her care, according to a police report. The woman, who showed signs of intoxication, blew a 0.234 alcohol level during a field test. The woman's sister picked up her children. No charges were filed.

Theft

A Woodbury resident reported his bike stolen after an ambulance transported him to the hospital for injuries he sustained when he fell off his bike around 6:30 p.m. July 30. Police checked nearby houses for the bike, a Schwinn Latour, and the man agreed to leave a sign where he left it.

A Woodbury man reported around 8 p.m. July 30 that his daughter found the hood of her car open while it was parked on Radio Drive with the battery missing the previous day. The cables appeared to have been cut.

A building manager with the Powers Lake Association reported July 31 that a carved wooden sign worth $500 to $1,000 was stolen about two weeks prior.

Loss prevention employees at the Walmart on Hudson Road reported detaining a 17-year-old girl around 1 p.m. July 31 after they said they witnessed her conceal about $25 worth of merchandise in her purse, use the items to make a return, and bought shampoo. Police called the girl's parents.

A Woodbury man reported July 31 that his catalytic converter, worth $350, was stolen from his car parked in his Russel Avenue driveway while he was away for the weekend.

Woodbury police cited a St. Paul woman after loss prevention staff at the Wal-Mart on Hudson Road reported she concealed $104 worth of merchandise in her purse around 1:30 p.m. Aug. 1.

Jessica Ann Farmer, 30 of Eagan, was booked and released from the Washington County Jail August 1 after loss prevention staff at the Hudson Road Walmart reported she concealed a $99 memory card in her clothing and walked past the registers.

Suspicious activity

A Woodbury woman reported possible beastiality Aug. 1 after she said a 13-year-old boy sent her eighth-grade daughter Snapchat videos in which he was having sex with a dog. The woman told police she would try to figure out how to provide them with the videos from her daughter's phone. An investigation into the incident has since been closed.
