Traffic stop for expired tabs leads to 3 baggies of meth
A St. Paul Park 27-year-old is facing felony drug charges after police found three baggies of methamphetamine in her car.
On Aug. 19, near the intersection of Woodlane Drive and Valley Creek Road, Woodbury officers conducted a random license plate check of the vehicle driving in front of them.
Katie Joan Babcock's tabs were expired.
During the traffic stop, police observed a glass bong in plain view. Babcock admitted that she had meth in the vehicle. Officers found the baggies, as well as other drug paraphernalia.
Babcock appeared in Washington County District Court in December and is due back in January.
