Shoplifter gets probation after police found her drugs

A St. Paul woman was sentenced and released on probation Nov. 19 after pleading guilty to fifth-degree possession of methamphetamine. 

Sylvia Pearl Cramer, 29, of St. Paul was caught shoplifting at the Woodbury WalMart in May. 

When arrested, a search of her person turned up a plastic bag with syringe caps in it. The caps contained a white substance that tested positive as meth.She served 60 days in the Washington County jail and also was sentenced to five years of probation.
