Police searching for burglary suspects

Woodbury police are looking for two suspects believed be responsible for five residential burglaries, including an attempt that occured today.

There have been four residential burglaries in the area of Meadow Lane and Edgewood Avenue in the Woodbury Heights neighborhood, according to police. A similar attempt occurred at the north end of Colby Lake Wednesday.

The burglaries took place on various days of the week during late morning hours in homes that were occupied, police said. The perpetrators determine no one is home and force entry through a front or side door. Targeted items appear to be electronics and jewelry.

Suspects are believed to be one male with scruffy facial hair and one petite female with red hair, both appear to be in their early 20s. They are driving an older model dark gray sedan.

Woodbury Police are working with St. Paul Police Department, as they believe there is a connection with similar burglaries in the Battle Creek area.

If you have any information, please contact detective Todd Jagodzinski at (651) 714-3624. If you see any suspicious activity, call 911 immediately.
