Vehicle driven by Woodbury woman leaves motorcyclist with head injury
A motorcyclist suffered head injuries when he was struck by another vehicle Sunday in Denmark Township.
David Sanderson, 42, of Lakeville, sustained cuts to his head in the crash and was transported to Regina Hospital in Hastings.
According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office:
A vehicle driven by Jeanine Twisk, 38, of Woodbury, was southbound on St. Croix Trail. Twisk was going to make a right turn onto 90th Street, but changed course at the last moment and attempted to turn left into Whistling Well Orchard. The vehicle struck Sanderson's motorcycle at the intersection.
The crash was reported at 12:23 p.m.
A juvenile female passenger in the vehicle suffered minor injuries, but was checked out by rescue crews and did not receive medical transport. No age was listed for the injured passenger.
No citations were issued in the incident, according to the report.
Sanderson was treated in the Regina emergency department and released, a hospital spokeswoman said Tuesday.
The report did not say whether Sanderson was wearing a helmet.
