Art enthusiasts were out in full force last weekend during the annual Afton Art in the Park event.

Thousands of people took to the fall weather to peruse the many art vendors during this year's event, Sept. 22-23.

The weekend included roughly 70 to 80 art vendors set up in and around Afton's Town Square Park selling a variety of items including jewelry, stained glass, photography, lawn art, painting, clothing, purses, doll clothes, hair accessories and garden art.

Afton Art in the Park also included food vendors, a business fair and live music throughout the weekend.

New to this year's event was a "Kids Art Corner" and a "Pet Stop."
