Non-profits, service groups needed for festival
The Washington County Historic Courthouse is accepting applications from non-profit groups and service organizations for the ninth annual "Kick Off to Lumberjack Days" Ice Cream Social and Amateur Talent Show scheduled for Wednesday, July 22, 4:30 p.m. to dusk.
The Historic Courthouse is seeking groups to sell food and beverages and/or provide children's or family-friendly activities. A valid food license is required for all food and beverage sales and a $25 application fee is required. The courthouse sells root beer floats, penny candy and frozen ice cream novelties. The event also includes a petting zoo and amateur talent show.
