Summit Hill Brass Quintet to perform at the Phipps April 19
Baroque selections, Renaissance madrigals and old American songs will be presented by the Summit Hill Brass Quintet on Sunday, April 19 at 7 p.m. at the Phipps Center for the Arts, 109 Locust Street, Hudson, Wis.
The ensemble's program will consist of "Escape" by Kevin McKee, Concerto No. 1 by Antonio Vivaldi/J. S. Bach, Quintet, Op. 5 by Victor Ewald, Quintet, K. 515 by W. A. Mozart, Renaissance Madrigal Suite by Thomas Morely, and Old American Songs arranged by David Baldwin.
The Summit Hill Brass Quintet has enjoyed playing music for over 30 years. Their first concert was at Scott Hall Auditorium at the University of Minnesota on Feb. 17, 1977. The Summit Hill Brass Quintet has performed throughout the region.
