The church has left the building

On Sunday, March 22 the community will be glad that the congregation at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Woodbury "has left the building." Congregants will put "their faith into action by practicing very purposeful acts of kindness" throughout the community during Faith in Action Weekend.

Volunteers from both the church and the community will join together to serve brunch and put on a puppet show at a women's shelter, help seniors in their homes, sort food at the Christian Cupboard, assist a family in need with household projects, assemble hospice kits for AIDS patients, visit The Estates, an assisted living facility in Woodbury, and more.

"We're excited about how our congregation has rallied to support this special day of service to our community. We would love to have our neighbors join in, we invite everyone to come and serve with us," says the church's Pastor Ted Vanderpan.
