All about reptiles

The Science Explorers program of the Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department will present "Remarkable Reptiles" for children ages 3 1/2 to 6 at the Evergreen West Park Building, 1033 Tamberwood Trail, Woodbury on Tuesdays, April 7 - 28, from 9:45 to 11:15 a.m. The cost is $51.

The child-only program will use a variety of methods including singing, reading, puppet-making and more to explore the world of reptiles and their amphibian friends. Children will learn about a reptile's lifecycle and compare it to the lifecycle of amphibians, and will find answers to questions such as why reptiles have scales, whether snakes are slimy and what reptiles in Minnesota do in the winter.

To register for this activity, #55127-07, visit or call Parks and Recreation at (651) 714-3583.
