Mexican immigration forum at Guardian Angels Catholic Church
Guardian Angels Catholic Church is co-sponsoring a forum on immigration with the Resource Center of the Americas.
It will be held Tuesday, Feb. 24, 7 to 9 p.m., in Peter O'Neill Hall at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 8260 Fourth Street North, Oakdale.
The panel will include Jesse Bethke, president of CLUES (Communidades
Latinos Unidas en Servicio), Prof. Kathleen Ganley of the University of Minnesota and Manuel Gonzalez, Mexican immigrant and businessman.
The panelists will discuss Mexican immigration and help debunk some of the myths surrounding it -- undocumented immigration in particular. There will be an opportunity to comment and ask questions.
This forum is open to the public. Refreshments will be available.
