Air quality advisory issued for Wednesday

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency is advising that people who are unusually sensitive to air quality limit their outdoor activity today.

According to the agency's Twin Cities Air Quality Forecast, "a low-pressure system over Manitoba will cause winds to shift to southerly in the Twin Cities, transporting moisture and additional pollutants into the region."

Those who are sensitive to air quality should "consider reducing prolonged or heavy exertion," outdoors, according to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Web site.
