Eagle Brook Church opening new campus in Woodbury this weekend

A giant church is opening in Woodbury this weekend after nearly two years of fundraising and construction.

Eagle Brook Church will have a permanent campus on the east side of the Twin Cities with a new auditorium that seats 1,500 to accommodate a growing congregation the church has established over the years.

About 800 Woodbury families were already attending Eagle Brook Church services in White Bear Lake and Lino Lakes campuses until 2010 when the church decided to open a temporary location at East Ridge High School, said executive pastor Scott Anderson.

“Woodbury is the result of growth we experienced at White Bear Lake and Lino Lakes especially,” he said. “Those two campuses are filling up and our needs to find more seats really drove that decision to try to look for a location in Woodbury.”
