UPDATE: Search continues for missing man

Woodbury resident Kyle Konkler, a vulnerable adult, has been missing since Wednesday, according to police. Submitted photo

Kyle Konkler, the vulnerable adult reported missing Friday after walking away from his Woodbury home, had not been located by Saturday morning.

Woodbury Police Sgt. Neil Bauer said a detective had been assigned to the case of Konkler, who was last seen on Wednesday. Search parties were not assembled to locate the 19-year-old, Bauer said, because the search area hasn't been narrowed down.

According to a city of Woodbury news release, Konkler walked away from his White Eagle Drive home in Woodbury’s Eagle Valley neighborhood and hasn’t been seen since.

“Police are concerned he may get himself into potentially dangerous situations,” the release states.

Konkler is described as 6 feet tall and 215 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He often wears a baseball cap, according to the release.

The release states that Konkler is safe to approach but should not be spoken to “as he may run away.”

Police are requesting that anyone who sees Konkler or knows where he is should call police at 651-439-9381.

It is not the first time Konkler has gone missing. In April 2013, he left his job in White Bear Lake, but later returned to his family.
