SuperTarget to offer fast-food options

Shoppers will be able to eat fast food at the planned SuperTarget store in Woodbury.

The proposed store, to open in 2011, will feature three in-store restaurant options, Target Corp. said.

The 177,000-square-foot store will include a Starbucks, Pizza Hut Express and Taco Bell Express.

A pharmacy and optical shop also are planned for the store. Like other SuperTarget stores, the Woodbury location will have general merchandise plus a full-service supermarket with an in-store bakery, a deli and organic produce.

Target will break ground on the east Woodbury store July 13, but preliminary site work is under way.

SuperTarget is expected to be the anchor tenant of the Commerce Hill commercial development west of Woodbury Drive and north of Tamarack Road. The developers also plan smaller restaurants and retail spaces in Commerce Hill.
