Kitchen science and dinosaurs are featured

The Science Explorers program of the Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department offers many Monday through Thursday programs for children ages 4 - 6 in the lower level, ECFE suite at Central Park, 8595 Central Park Place. Classes are taught by a qualified teacher.

• Dynamite Dinosaurs, activity #55127-11, will be held June 15-18, from 9:30 to11:30 a.m.

Children will "journey back to the world where dinosaurs ruled the earth, learn about big and small dinosaurs and other animals that roamed the earth." They'll study fossils, play games and work on projects. The cost is $62.

• Kitchen Science, activity #55127-12, will be held June 15 -18, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Children will "experiment with things you can find in your kitchen, mixtures that fizzle, pop and stretch," while learning about solids, liquids and gasses. The cost is $62.
