Five win 'Above and Beyond' honors in Woodbury

Body:

The Woodbury Days Council named five recipients of the 2017 "Greg Orth Above and Beyond Award" at its volunteer appreciation picnic at Carver Lake Sept. 7. Recipients are, from left, Scott Hanson, volunteer; Dennis Boe, Ambassador family; Emma Wolf, youth volunteer—a new category this year; and Pam and Bill Eisele, head of the Button of Savings committee. This was the third year recipients received awards which honor the memory of Greg Orth, former Woodbury chief of police, Washington County Commissioner and a member of the Woodbury Rotary Club and Woodbury Days Council. Orth, who died in 2008, is remembered as a "loving and caring person who touched the lives of many," a member of the Woodbury Days council said.
