Woodbury Community EXPO, a free family-friendly event, takes place March 19 -- including Star Wars show
The seventh annual Woodbury Community EXPO, a free event for all ages, will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 19 at East Ridge High School, 4200 Pioneer Drive.
Organized by the Woodbury Area Chamber of Commerce, the Woodbury Community EXPO is the largest community gathering of its kind in the east metro. More than 179 area businesses and nonprofits will showcase their products and services while offering some of their best deals of the season. Local restaurants will be selling their delectable specialties.
The entertainment lineup will have you laughing, singing and dancing. The main stage will feature a Star Wars saber show and meet and greet, juggling and magic by Perpetual Vaudeville, a reptile show by Snake Discovery and Dazzling Dave National Yo-Yo Master. The kids area will be packed with fun including science experiments, face painting, crazy hair, Mad Science, balloon artists and a bounce house. Don’t miss the outdoor vehicle fair featuring police cars, dump trucks, excavators, an ambulance and recreational toys. The community stage will showcase local martial arts and dance studios, as well as fitness and performing arts organizations that will showcase music and arts programs in the community.
