It was a fun night to be in Afton last Thursday.

Afton was the place to be on May 21 since there were a number of events happening, including the new Afton Farmer’s Market.

In addition to the farmer’s market, which had several vendors set up, last Thursday also featured the monthly Ultimate Girls Night and an art show at the Old School Art Studio.

At the Afton Farmer’s Market, which will be set up in Town Square Park every Thursday throughout the summer, everything from coffee to alpaca wool to fresh-made bread were available for purchase.

During the Ultimate Girls Night Out, women could enjoy some shopping while tasting free wine at Swirl Wine Bar among other things.

At the Old School Art Studio, jewelry and handmade ornaments were on display in addition to other wares.

Additionally, Old School Art Studio also featured live music as well as a wine glass painting activity.
