Several east metro families attended the Woodbury Easter Egg Hunt at Madison's Place Playground April 8.

The Saturday event was one of several egg hunts that day at the all-inclusive playground.

With a cap on the number of eggs participants could collect, parents said they liked that it allowed for kids to collect eggs at their own pace.

The Easter Bunny also made an appearance and provided photo opportunities and help with an obstacle course after the hunt.

Woodbury's Parks and Recreation Department runs the event each year, and since January have filled 14,000 plastic eggs with treats and toys for the event.
