CITY OF WOODBURY
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Woodspring Hotels has submitted an application for a Conditional Use Permit and Site and Building Plan for a four-story, 122-room hotel. The proposed project is located on Weir Drive south of Tamarack Road and north of Upper Afton Road. The property is currently zoned BCD, Business Campus District, and is guided as Places to Work on the Land Use Plan.
The application includes the following described real estate lying and being in the City of Woodbury, County of Washington, State of Minnesota to wit:
That part of the Northwest Quarter (NW ΒΌ) of Section 8, Township 28, Range 21, Washington County, Minnesota, described as commencing at the Northwest corner thereof; thence on an assumed bearing of South along the West line thereof 42.84 feet to the point of beginning; thence South 318.60 feet, thence East 519.52 feet, more or less, to the Westerly right-of-way line of Interstate No. 494; thence Northerly along said right-of-way line a distance of 341.07 feet, more or less, to its intersection with a line bearing East from the point of beginning; thence West 641.25 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Woodbury City Council has scheduled a public hearing to review the request for the application. The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. at Woodbury City Hall, 8301Valley Creek Road.
The purpose of the hearing is to provide citizens the opportunity to comment on the proposed application. Individual citizens or representatives of organizations are encouraged to submit written comments prior to the hearing.
All interested parties will be heard.
