NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Emmaus Companies, Inc. has submitted an application for a Planned Unit Development, Conditional Use Permit, Preliminary Plat, and Site and Building Plan for a project to be called Prelude Village of Woodbury. The applicant is requesting to develop rental, age restricted, and an independent living product for those 55 and older. The project proposes 20 total units on 5.7 acres with the existing Victorian Times Tea House to remain as a clubhouse facility. The property is located in the northwest corner of Bailey Road and Alexandria Drive. The property is zoned R-4, Urban Residential and is guided as Residential on the Land Use Plan.
The application includes the following described real estate lying and being in the City of Woodbury, County of Washington, State of Minnesota to wit:
All that part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 28, Range 21 Village of Woodbury, Washington County, Minnesota described as follows: Commencing at a Washington County Cast iron monument located at the Southwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 28, Range 21; thence East along the South line of said Southwest Quarter for 1650.00 feet to the point of the beginning of this description; thence deflecting to the left an angle of 86 degrees 53 minutes and Northerly for 783.9 feet; thence deflecting to the right an angle of 86 degrees 53 minutes and parallel with said South line of the Southwest Quarter for 317.0 feet; thence deflecting to the right an angle of 93 degrees 07 minutes and southerly for 783.9 feet to said South line of the Southwest Quarter; thence West along said South line of the Southwest Quarter for 317.0 feet to the point of beginning. Contains 5.7 acres, more or less, subject to the right-of-way of County Road No. 18. According to the United States Government Survey thereof.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Woodbury City Council has scheduled a public hearing to review the request for the application. The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. at Woodbury City Hall, 8301Valley Creek Road.
The purpose of the hearing is to provide citizens the opportunity to comment on the proposed application. Individual citizens or representatives of organizations are encouraged to submit written comments prior to the hearing.
All interested parties will be heard.
