ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
RECEIPT AND OPENING OF PROPOSALS: Sealed Bids for the work described below will be receive at the Woodbury Public Works Building, 2301 Tower Drive, Woodbury, MN, 55125 until 2:00 PM,
April 6, 2017, at which time they will be publically opened and read aloud:
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: In general, work consists of the following work:
Lift Station Rehabilitation
A.Lift Station 1
1.Replace the existing control panel and some pump accessories.
2.Coat interior of the valve vault and wet well.
3.Replace manhole hatch.
4.Install new generator.
5.Regrade around lift station.
6.Install a utility power meter.
B.Lift Station 4
1.Replace the existing pumps, control panel, and pump accessories.
2.Coat wet well and valve vault piping, valves, and accessories.
3.Replace wet well top slab and accessories.
4.Install new generator.
5.Regrade and repave access drive.
6.Install a utility power meter.
C.Lift Station 8
1.Replace the existing pumps, control panel, and pump accessories.
2.Coat wet well and valve vault piping, valves, and accessories.
3.Replace wet well top slab and accessories.
4.Install new generator with bollards.
5.Installing a sump pump in the valve vault.
6.Install a utility power meter.
D.Lift Station 10
1.Replace the existing pumps, control panel, and pump accessories.
2.Coat wet well and valve vault piping, valves, and accessories.
3.Replace wet well top slab and accessories.
4.Install new generator.
5.Install a utility power meter.

The City of Woodbury has adopted a standard document entitled “Standard Project Manual for Utility and Street Construction”, dated January 3, 2017, which includes the Procurement and Contracting Requirements and Specifications which are hereby incorporated into the Bidding Documents. Bidders are required to obtain a copy of this standard document once per year. An electronic copy may be obtained for no charge from the City of Woodbury website at the following link:

BID SECURITY: A certified check or proposal bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of the City of Woodbury, shall accompany each bid.
OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED: The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening Bids.
OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED: The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby.
