CITY OF WOODBURY
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Woodbury is proposing an amendment to Chapter 25, Floodplain, of the Woodbury City Code as follows:
Amend Chapter 25, Article II, “General Provisions”, Section 25-5, “Establishment of Official Zoning Map” to add the underlined text below:
The official zoning map together with all materials attached thereto is hereby adopted by reference and declared to be a part of this chapter. The attached material shall include the Flood Insurance Rate Map Panels for Washington County, Minnesota and Incorporated Areas numbered 27163C0330E, 27163C0335E, 27163C0340E, 27163C0345E, 27163C0355E, 27163C0361E, 27163C0365E, 27163C0405E, 27163C0410E and 27163C0430E, all dated February 3, 2010; and the Letter of Map Revision, 14-05-4889P, with an effective date of February 5, 2015,; and the Letter of Map Revision Based on Fill, 17-05-0564A, with a date of December 14, 2016, all prepared by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. The official zoning map shall be on file in the office of the city clerk and the community development director.
This section will add a recent Letter of Map Revision based on fill to the official Flood Insurance Rate Map information for the City of Woodbury, MN.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Woodbury City Council has scheduled a public hearing to review the ordinance amendment. The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. at Woodbury City Hall, 8301Valley Creek Road.
The purpose of the hearing is to provide citizens the opportunity to comment on the proposed amendment. Individual citizens or representatives of organizations are encouraged to submit written comments prior to the hearing.
All interested parties will be heard.
