More than 250 people from in and around the east metro filed into the Central Park amphitheater in Woodbury Monday night to give area legislators something to chew on in the midst of the state’s current budget crisis.
Minnesota News ST. PAUL – Legislators have yet to begin balancing the next Minnesota state budget, but already are being warned that the $4.85 billion deficit they face is nothing compared to what is to come in future years.
We’re facing the end of another year and although the promise of a New Year is on the horizon, we’re all well aware of the great challenges ahead of us as we cope with an economic recession and address a state budget deficit of a size unprecedented in our state history.
