In a recent letter, I was very critical of the leadership of George W. Bush during his presidency. With this editorial I hope, at least in part, to explain the reason why I have such a low opinion of Bush.
This is hard for me to say, but I will just say it anyway. I am a Rep… a Republican. There, I said it. Am I embarrassed to admit it? Yes, given the current state of the Republican Party. It feels more like a funeral than a party!
Senator Norm Coleman, R-Minn., has earned a second term in the U.S. Senate. The moderate Republican has demonstrated the ability to reach across the political aisle and remain true to his core principals.
It seems that George W. is not too popular these days, being blamed for everything from global warming to bank failures. Bush bashing, then, is definitely “in.”
