Letter to the editor: Thank you Kieffer and Lillie for legislative property tax reform
There are those who believe that one must stir up dissatisfaction and discontent with half-truths. This subversive political tactic is common place in the DFL party, as can be seen in campaign ads. Fanning the flames of agitation is difficult to swallow for Woodbury residents capable of understanding the 2011 law change that replaces the Homestead Market Value Credit with the Homestead Market Value Exclusion.

Letter to the editor: Weik fits the bill
There are many reasons why one decides to support one candidate over another when they are first running for office. For me, the important issues are always: what kind of commitment do they show; how dedicated are they to the position for which they are running; how well do they listen to their constituents; how concerned are they about their community; and, once elected, will they fulfill the promises they have made?

She has always been a responsible and reliable person and a pillar of strength for her students, her friends and her co-workers.
