Park’s Evan Bonneson put it all together at just the right time. The junior Nordic skier finished in ninth place at the Section 1 Championship meet to punch a ticket to his first state meet.

Second year head coach Joe Wacker, a Nordic skier at Park just six years ago, was able to inject some life back into the District 833's Nordic skiing program last season. This year, the program has nearly doubled in size overall. The number of skiers went from 45 in 2012 to 82.
