Allen A. Schmieder, age 79, of Woodbury, died suddenly, as a result of a massive stroke, on Dec. 29.
There will be a tribute service held at a later date.

To all who loved my Dear sweet Uncle Allen I send love and heart warming hugs. So sorry to Sonja and Lily and H and Adam. also to aunt Ellie and Uncle Rich and Jyme. I'm so proud of all the amazing things he accomplished in his life. I love that he shared stories of his sister Norma Jean my Mom when they were young. This truly meant the world to me as I lost her when I was just 16. He also treated me to a visit to Washington, DC when I had just graduated from high school.
